DecenterAds DSP Functionality Update: Advanced GPS Mapping
We are delighted to announce that our multiple partners have already been exploring the benefits of using the feature of GPS map provided by our DSP in its base configuration! Hence, we would like to share more as by seamlessly integrating GPS maps into our advertising solution, we elevate the relevance of your ads while guaranteeing precise delivery to the intended audience, exactly when and where they belong!
What is GPS Mapping?
In the context of digital advertising, GPS mapping/targeting at a DSP allows advertisers to target specific geographical areas with their ads, ensuring that messages reach users in relevant locations. This technology enables advertisers to create highly targeted campaigns based on factors such as users’ current locations, their past locations, places they have visited, and their proximity to certain points of interest.
How Does It Work?
In simple terms, GPS targeting at our Demand-Side Platform works by leveraging location data from devices to aim on specific geographical areas with ads. GPS-enabled devices, such as smartphones and tablets, constantly generate location data through GPS satellites. This data includes latitude, longitude, and sometimes additional information like altitude. This precise targeting capability enables advertisers to optimize their campaigns by ensuring they reach the appropriate audience at the most opportune moment and location, leading to increased levels of engagement and relevance.

Instruction
If you are already using our platform or deciding whether to try it out, here is a step-by-step instruction to how to set GPS mapping up:
During creation of a campaign, check 3rd step “Targeting”. It can also be found during editing of already existing campaigns.

Click the corresponding button and open the settings menu. This will enable the following functions: search of locations, scaling the map, full screen mode, and activating/deactivating the chosen points.
During map search there will be two new buttons available corresponding for adding and removal of the selected points on the map.
To set up points manually, however, you can choose a desired radius in advance. Left mouse click will allow you to set a point on the map that will appear instantly with the selected radius which will pop up in the list on the right of your screen. Right mouse click will, therefore, delete the chosen point.

Click the action button to edit a particular point – it will open a setting menu with functions including exporting, importing, and deleting.

- “Export” allows downloading of the coordinates with radius
- “Import” uploads a .csv document on the personal device
- “Delete” eliminates the chosen points from the map.
Lastly, you can also edit longitude, latitude, and radius manually by double clicking on each value.

How DSPs Manage and Distribute Campaign Budgets
15 May 2026Budget allocation in a demand-side platform refers to how an advertiser’s budget is distributed throughout the duration of a campaign. Instead of spending too quickly at the start or leaving unused funds at the end, DSPs pace spending to maintain balance over time. This process involves setting daily or hourly limits and continuously adjusting them based on campaign performance and available opportunities.
How Signal Loss Is Reshaping RTB Strategies
10 Apr 2026Signal loss is the gradual reduction of user data that advertising systems rely on. This includes cookies, device identifiers, and other tracking signals used in real-time bidding to understand who the user is and how valuable an impression might be.
Floor prices play a far greater role in programmatic performance than many advertisers assume. While brands often focus on audience targeting, frequency, and creative optimization, the minimum price set by the supply-side platform quietly shapes the entire auction environment. A higher or poorly calibrated floor can restrict bid participation, suppress win rates, and limit access to valuable impressions. Conversely, a well-aligned floor price can stimulate competiti
