These audiences are typically the most valuable because they consist of users who have already engaged with the brand in some way, such as visiting their website, signing up for a newsletter, or making a purchase.

Types of First-Party Audiences 

First-party audiences refer to groups of individuals whose data is collected by companies and encompass:

  1. Interactions on websites or apps, monitored through web analytics, user registrations, and online behavior.
  2. Transactional information, such as purchase history and order details.
  3. Feedback from customers obtained via surveys, reviews, and feedback forms.
  4. Details of customer interactions recorded and handled within CRM platforms.

Creating First-Party Audiences in the DecenterAds DSP

Here, at DecentreAds you can fully utilize our function in order to maximize your programmatic outcomes! Here is s quick overview of the creation of such audience:

  • Under the “First-party audiences” section, you will be directed to the audience creating page. 
  • You can opt for either “Trade” or “Collect” for audience functionality, but only one option can be selected at a time.
  • On the “First-party audiences” page, you can edit or delete audiences using the options provided in the “Action” column. Simply click the “Edit” button to modify an audience, or click the “Delete” button to remove it.

Connecting audiences with campaigns

  • To connect  an audience with a campaign, you can modify the campaign directly. Within the campaign editor, navigate to the “Audiences” tab. Here, in the “1st party audiences” section, much like creating a campaign, choose the relevant audiences for the campaign under the “Included audiences” and/or “Excluded audiences” sections.

  • Clicking on either of the two rows will prompt a dropdown menu displaying all previously generated audiences. Each audience in the dropdown list is briefly described within parentheses, indicating its Strategy type, Identifier type, Source type, and Audience size.
  • You can link multiple campaigns to one audience.
